Janitorial / Maintenance Staff

Coventry Christian Schools has immediate openings for both maintenance and janitorial staff.  We have part time and full time positions available.  Staff would support the care and improvement of the school's facilities through janitorial work as well as maintenance and construction work.  We have seasonal openings to work through the summer as well as permanent full time positions available.

Secondary Math Teachers

August/September Start

Full & Part Time

Coventry Christian Schools is seeking Math Teachers for the 2021-2022 school year.  We have both full time and part time positions open for the 2021-22 academic year.  The role includes teaching math courses in our Secondary program in conjunction with existing mathematics faculty.  Courses may include courses such as AP Calculus, Calculus, Algebra I & II, SAT Math Prep, Physics, Geometry, etc.  

 

Job requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Active membership in a Bible-believing Christian Church

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or appropriate field of study for Secondary math instruction

  • ACCS, ACSI or PA state certification is preferred

Grammar School (Kind. - 5th) Teacher (4 openings)

Coventry Christian Schools is seeking teaching applicants for both Lower (K-2nd) and Upper (3rd - 5th) elementary school for the fall 2021 academic year.  These positions are full-time, 10-month teaching roles.  Coventry's Grammar School program provides a strong foundation to anchor our students and prepare them for a lifetime of learning and growing!  Teachers will be asked to deliver our classical Christian curriculum in a loving environment which is conducive to fostering a love of learning.

Grammar School Teacher (cross-discipline)

August/September Start

Coventry Christian Schools is seeking a grammar/elementary teacher (K-5) with a wide range of interests to instruct in multiple arenas: Potential areas include art, Physical education, science, keyboarding, some Latin, and possibly other subject matter as determined by the Dean!  This teacher would be responsible for coordinating existing curricula and pacing alignment with existing personnel, and would also include other varied tasks which assist with the delivery of an excellent grammar school program.

Professional Support Teacher (2 Openings)

August/September Start

Coventry Christian Schools is seeking two part time professional support teachers, 25 hours per week (each),  for the purpose of working with individual or small groups of students for differentiated instruction, follow through in administering Individual Learning Plans (ILP), reinforcement or reteaching, and helping with the day-to-day logistics of carrying out the vision and mission of Coventry Christian school. This role will require thoughtful, high-energy and dynamic persons who have great interpersonal skills with both adults and students.

 

In addition to working directly with students, these staff members may also be asked to support the broader operations of a dynamic, engaging classical Christian school such as monitoring lunch/recess or supporting programs like Mileage Club, and Recitation Virtuosos. Nurse / Administrative Support

August/September Start

Part Time

Coventry Christian Schools is seeking a part time nurse who will also serve as an administrative support staff member to the Front Office Manager.  Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Receive sick students and provide appropriate care or arrange for student to be picked up by a parent/guardian as appropriate

  • Give Band-Aids and ice packs after minor injuries

  • Assist the Front Office Manager with student medical records and compliance

  • Support the Front Office Manager, as available, by answering the phone and front door

 

Job requirements include:

  • LPN or RN

Assistant Cross Country 

Fall Season, 2021

Term of Employment & Hours: Cross Country Season (August - October), 5-10 hours per week, Monday - Friday, Hours will vary based on team schedule.

Pay & Benefits: Stipend

Reports to:  Josh Oliver, XC Head Coach & Mike Behnke, Athletic Director

Responsibilities:  Work with the XC Head Coach to help develop student's running abilities.  Plan/Coordinate practices and meets.

Baseball Coach
