Introductions.

Kim suggested that new people connect with co-chairs or resigning chairs.

Current committee as of tonight’s meeting:

Events Coordinators - Christie Ramos and Kristina Kaban

Treasurer – Lilian Graham and Jesse Hoagey

Auction – Christina Crawford and Wendy Moyer

Performing Arts - Christine Lewis and Jennie Steffie

Sports boosters – Chip Minto and Gwen Pacan

Chip Minto started the motion to vote in the new committee. Jennie Steffie seconded the motion. All were in favor.

Bylaws Update:

Tyler will send bylaws suggestions to new board prior to next meeting.

Highlights: He tried to streamline expenditure voting for boosters. Full board will vote on general PTO items. Boosters need to be unanimous of booster co-chairs and PTO chair and co-chair. If not unanimous, the full board will vote and a two-thirds majority is required.

Google forms will be used for voting, instead of email, going forward.

2023-2024 Meeting Schedule:

• July – no meeting

• August 1st at 6:00 pm at CCS in Mr. Dove’s classroom (possibly 23rd *if follow-up budget discussion is necessary)

• September 12th at 6:30 pm in CCS chapel

• October 17th at 6:30 in CCS chapel

• November 14th at 6:30 in CCS chapel

• December – no meeting

• January 16th at 6:30 in CCS chapel

• February 20th at 6:30 in CCS chapel

• March 19th at 6:30 in CCS chapel

• April 23rd at 6:30 in CCS chapel

• May 21st at 6:30 in CCS chapel

• June 11th at 6:00 in CCS chapel

• Fall Fest – October 6th (13th is History Day) (flower sale)

• Santa Breakfast - December 2nd / Poinsettia and wreath sale

• Founder’s Dinner - December 5th

• 100th Day of School – February 15th

• Easter Flower sale – March 22nd

• Science Fair – March 15th (tentative)

Clothing sales dates TBD.

Flower sale – fall, Christmas, and spring. Melody would like to get someone to help. Doesn’t need to be a PTO committee member. Samantha and Kristina Kaban offered to help.

Laurie Shirey suggested having a webpage with a list of events for which people can volunteer.

Lacy Minto is the CCS events coordinator. Please communicate with her regarding PTO events. Set-up/tear-down schedules need to be communicated (and should also be added to a calendar) to avoid conflicting events.

Sports Boosters Update

Sports boosters should be responsible for spirit wear. Chip would like to have that in the concession area and also sell snacks at football games and other events.
