AP Courses
We offer a variety of AP Courses to Juniors and Seniors who meet the course requirements. CCS offers 9 AP courses: AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Calculus AB, AP Computer Science, AP Macroeconomics, AP US Government, AP English Literature, AP US History, AP Art History.
In order to be eligible for AP, students must be in good academic standing and have demonstrated the ability to succeed. These courses help to challenge and prepare students for their university experience and give them the opportunity to earn college credit by passing the AP Exam.
Since 2016, 74% of CCS students taking an AP exam have scored a 3 or better.
Dual Enrollment
Students may earn college credit on campus during their junior and senior years. We offer dual credit options through a partnership with Montgomery County Community College.
Dual credit must be approved by an administrator prior to enrollment. Dual credit options require school, parent, and student coordination as often these courses will be taken in lieu of CCS offered courses or after regular school hours.
National Honor Society
CCS students participate in the National Honor Society. The National Honor Society (NHS) is "the oldest and most respected student recognition organization in the United States." Membership in NHS distinguishes students who have committed themselves to the pursuit of academic excellence, community improvement, and personal development.

Profile of a Coventry Graduate
What does a CCS graduate look like?
A CCS graduate is a person of integrity. Their integrating core is to love God with their whole being and to love others as themselves. They view their post-secondary education, career decisions, social life, family, and citizenship from an eternal perspective.
CCS graduates seek what God would have them do with the gifts that they have been given and how they can serve others.
They lean upon the wisdom of those who have gone before them in faith and follow their examples. They are integral members of the community, contributing admirably because of their desire to show others the love of Jesus.
